MISSISSIPPI ART COLONY INVITATIONAL AWARD
The MS Art Colony offers an Invitational Award to anyone whose financial situation would otherwise inhibit them from attending. It is not limited to college-enrolled students. It is, however, reserved for a practicing, dedicated, proficient artist (whether in or out of school). The applicant must have a strong commitment to their art as well as a solid work ethic and desire to grow. As a recipient you must:
A. Be willing to help the director and other staff with on site duties
(when and if they request it).
B. Attend all sessions for the full length of time each day and for the
duration of the workshop.
C. Write Colony a letter (upon returning home after the workshop)
so that we will have an account of your Colony experience.
